MotoZone Service & Warranty Policy

30-Day Limited Workmanship Warranty

MotoZone provides a 30-day limited warranty on workmanship, effective from the date of work completion.


This warranty is non-transferable and covers defects in workmanship only.


Exceptions and details are outlined below.

Parts Warranty

All parts are covered at the discretion of the manufacturer.


If a part is found to be defective and covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, MotoZone will perform the replacement labor at the current shop labor rate.

Warranty Exclusions

There is no warranty on the following items:


  • Electrical components, including but not limited to:  Stators, electrical control units, regulators, switches, etc.
  • Perishable items, including but not limited to:  Carburetor rebuilds (including parts), gaskets, shocks, tires, etc.
  • Batteries, which are covered only under the manufacturer’s warranty terms.
  • Customer-supplied parts — MotoZone disclaims all liability for damages, injuries, or failures arising from the use or installation of these parts.  These are excluded from all warranty coverage.

Warranty Claims & Remedies

All warranty claims are subject to management’s discretion and must be reported within 30 days of job completion.


If a claim is approved under warranty:

  • MotoZone will repair the defective work, provided the issue does not result from any misuse or conditions excluded under the warranty terms (see limitations below). 
  • If repair is necessary, MotoZone may:
    • Repair the defective work
    • Replace parts with those of similar composition and value, if required


Warranty Limitations

This warranty is void if damage or defects result from:

  • Misuse, abuse, or neglect
  • Fire, flood, lightning, or other natural disasters
  • Improper operation
  • Alterations or repairs by anyone other than a MotoZone technician
  • Irresponsible use or non-recommended practices
  • Vehicle is sold


Replacement parts or labor provided after the original warranty is fulfilled will not extend the warranty period. 

Severe VEHICLE Service Policy

Extra labor charges (1.5 x the current hourly rate) will apply to vehicles in severe condition.  Severe condition vehicles include those showing any of the following:

  • Advanced age
  • High mileage
  • Rust or corrosion
  • Lack of maintenance
  • Evidence of abuse


If your vehicle falls into this category, you will be notified and labor charges will be charged accordingly. 

Deposits & Returns

  •  A deposit covering the full cost of all parts is required prior to the commencement of any work. 
  • No returns on special order parts.
  • In-store product purchases are eligible for store credit only.

Storage Policy & Mechanic’s Lien

A storage fee of $50 per day (up to a maximum of $4,500) will apply if your vehicle is not picked up and paid for in full within 7 days of being notified that the job is complete. Notification will be made via the email and/or phone number provided on your account. 


Unpaid balances are subject to a mechanic’s lien, in accordance with:   

NRS 108.265–108.367, 482.262, 487.270

Liability Disclaimer

MotoZone is not responsible for loss or damage to your motorcycle, ATV, UTV, or any items left with the vehicle due to fire, theft, or causes beyond our control.
